How do I make a computer reservation?
Use your library card or temporary computer ticket at the reservation station in the area you wish to work. You will be assigned to the next available computer. You may not reserve for a later time or date. Save the reservation receipt to locate your assigned computer.
Do I need a library card to use the public comptuers?
No. If you do not have a library card, you can get a temporary computer ticket at any service desk; no identification is required. Do not discard your computer ticket, you will use it to login to the computer. Computer tickets will expire after one day.
If you do have a library card, a computer ticket is not required. Overdue fines do not affect PC use. If your card is expired, you must renew your library card or obtain a computer ticket. Anyone without an active library card may acquire a computer ticket.
Are there time limits for use?
Computer sessions are one hour. All computers will turn off fifteen minutes prior to close.
Select express machines have a half-hour time limit.
