Branch Information

Branch History

The Goodlettsville Community created its own library in 1949. When the library became part of the Nashville Public Library system in 1964, need for a new facility was apparent. The branch was opened at its current site in 1968.

Plans for a new Goodlettsville Branch Library
We now have property for our new Goodlettsville Branch! Located adjacent to Goodlettsville Elementary School, the new library will be located at the corner of Rivergate Parkway and Donald Street. Although the project is delayed due to Metro budget constraints, we look forward to getting started in the future.
