Short Story Lunch Hour

This month’s Short Story Lunch Hour reader is Bryan Neil Jones. Yes, he normally hosts the program, but he could not resist abusing his power to read from one of his favorite contemporary authors: Sherman Alexie.
Mr. Alexie will be appearing soon at the Southern Festival of Books, and I wanted to share some of his work. I’ll be reading from the National Book Award winning “Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” and hopefully have enough time to discuss his work.
The Short Story Lunch Hour happens every third Thursday at noon in the Author’s Corner of the Main Library downtown. I hope to see you there September 18th. Don’t forget to bring a lunch.
